the service manual calls for a transmission filter change at I think 30k miles...

JTIS shows a tiny thing I think in the Transmission amongst seloniods etc....

anybody over do this? is there another filter? let me know..

 

If your tranny is working good right now..the best thing you can do is to take into the Dealer and have them do a BG Transmission flush, condtion and refill..that will warrenty your transmission for the next 30,000 miles.

Anway...When I had mine done a couple years ago, the tranny acted perfect afterward, and as far as I know, the new ower is problem free also....I think IIRC, that it was around $350.00 for the service, maybe a little less....IMO, well worth it for these crazy JATCO transmissions.
