Default XF drivers

XF people think they're all hoity toity. They follow me around town and think they're all in-the-know because they have a new Jag (all of a sudden). I think people who drive XF's are lame and there is nothing special about them over an x-type except they have a different body style and they think they are more upper class. These people **** me off, they just follow me around where I go to show off their new car they mysteriously just bought to drive around where I go. It's nothing but a newer version of my car, and they think they're special because they went out and bought one after I got mine. Wow congratulations you have basically the same car as me and you think you are showing off. I don't even want an XF. Maybe if it were a hybrid.

Exactly how many of these XF driver/people are following you around town? Do they follow you in a group, or take turns?

Do you ever feel threatened by their actions? If so, you should definately notify the athorities.

They're just always there trying to show off their new(ish) car. They are so proud of themselves for having a slightly newer car than mine, they feel they are in the upper strata of the socio-economic system because of it. I know they just went out and tried to find the slightly better version of my car to feel important.

Do you know some of these people personally? Neighbors? Co-workers?

Well I do hope you don't think you are being followed around by XF owners for real and you where just saying this figuratively.

The one thing I will say is that it is definitely hard for me to connect/relate with people who have the XF and current XJ, specially when driving the x type. Those cars are so completely disconnected from anything Jaguar ever made in the past from a Mark V, VII, VIII, X or I to the s1 XJ's or XJ40's that I find it impossible to view them as cars made by the same company. They are like Lexus' to me. If nothing else, ironically, it is I who view those cars with disdain for being sell outs.

When driving around in the XJS or E type I can still relate to current XK and F type drivers as fellow Jaguar owners since those cars still speak to the past in their design language

10 years is not slightly newer, it is newer. And if these people are really as awful to you as you say they are, then, as mentioned above, notify the authorities. TC
