xj6 transmission exchange
Hi, I'm new here. Just bought an '88 XJ6, drove it 650 miles and tranny went out. Car has a 3.6 engine. I've found a wrecked '94 with a 4.0 engine. What is the chance the transmissions will interchange without changing engines? What about making an engine & transmission swap? Thanks.

Sorry about your problems. But one good thing about Jag is that your engine swap will be fine. i did one years ago and everything worked out well.
