2018 Jaguar XE Infotainment System Problems
Just bought a "new" (executive demo with 5k) 2018 Jaguar XE R-Sport AWD, with (I believe) all options then available. On way home from MA the Infotainment System basically went bonkers. EG: No audio on navigation, problems syncing with "Apple Play," voice instructions button failed to work on and off, frequent system freeze ups, etc. Most annoying was no audio on navigation. Anyone out there with similar problems, suggested solutions? Thanks!
You could ask the dealer from whom you acquired the car when they last updated the Infotainment software.
If you've recently updated iOS on your iPhone, and the Infotainment software is less up-to-date, that could be a source of part of the problem.
A simpler possible solution would be to restart the car and see whether the problems persist.

Thanks for the responses. My first guess was a software update and my local dealer will try next week. Second time I've purchased out of state and had software problems requiring an update. Seems to me the selling dealer ought to have checked that prior to delivery.
