Battery tender and connection
Hi guys. I've been traveling a lot this winter and my company gave me a car to use due to the thousands of miles of driving so the XE has been parked for a few weeks. I've been debating a battery tender since the winter has been brutally cold here in Wisconsin this year.
I have 2 questions, should I bother? I've checked and the battery is good holding 12+ volts. If I do decide to put a tender on, can I connect it to the terminals in the engine compartment or do I need to go hook it up directly to the battery in the trunk?
Any thoughts on the matter are appreciated. Thanks..

You can connect it to the terminals in the engine compartment and this is actually more convenient for a temporary connection than diving under the boot floor - you don't need to disconnect the battery if you have an intelligent charger like the CTEK M5
