Car says service Req’d, Remote app says no issues
Good morning eveyone, I have a question I haven’t been able to find answers to. I have a 2018 XE Sport I bought last November with just over 30k miles on it. I love this car and have had no issues at all. I work from home so do not get to drive it much except on the weekends so it stays low mileage. Just the other day my car started saying Service Required but doesn’t have any dashboard lights indicating if it’s an oil change needed, battery issue, or whatever. The Jag remote app says that there are no issues. What’s my path forward here? I appreciate the help!
Welcome to the forums JagDad512,
The Service Reminder is time based. It's not doing any monitoring so you need not be concerned it's reporting a fault.
Jaguars are serviced on either a MILEAGE or TIME basis. With only 30K miles, yours should have been serviced on a TIME basis every 12 months and will be due the fourth service schedule some time in 2022.
If you are confident the servicing is up-to-date, the reminder can be turned off. Members here should be able to tell you the button and switch combination required to do this.

Do you have a record of the oil being changed before you bought your car? It may need an oil change, But if it did had one recently, all you need is to reset the reminder. This is the proper way to do it. Good luck
