Default Digital dash for XE?

hi guys

as most f-type owners are doing atm i imagine, i too am looking at the project 8 thinking how soon till we see the inevitable V8 R

looking online at XE's, i came across this rather official looking pic showing the digital dash

our local configurator doesn't show this, but since the steering wheel is on your side, is this something you guys can spec?

imo the XE could really do with the digital dash and led headlights to bring it more in line with current cars.... windsor leather would be appreciated too

2018 Models have the digital dash included with the ICTP 10 inch screen in the center dash.

Sure wish my car had the digital dash. The gauges on the XE look pretty budget and I can hardly see with with the steering wheel in the way.

The photo is definitely not from US spec car since it shows temperature in C instead of F + KM/H speedometer is visible.

Since XJ has had virtual dash for a while, it would be no surprise for MY18 XE's to have it as an option.

BTW is that a CD changer on the dashboard? Does anyone use CDs anymore?

You can customize the US cars to show Celsius and I'm sure with the digital dash to show km/h as well. Compared to the Germans, Jaguar does not change much between US and Euro cars.

Yes 2018 XE's will have virtual dash as an option.

I use CD's better sound quality...

The CD drive is also a DVD player too, which allows films when stationary or if you spec the split view option the passenger can watch a film on the move.

The CD player is also used to upload music to the 60GB SSD drive.

I have spec'd the ICT Pro which comes with the 12.3" digital dash for 18MY XE cars.

I just took delivery of my XE S here in the states last night. I can confirm that this car has the full digital dash when equipped with the Tech Package. So far I love everything about it although it did take some time to navigate around to see where everything was.

I am too new with this vehicle to make detailed comments about it yet, but this is really a head turner. I will post more photos soon as this is one of 2 XE S's that I know about thus far in the states.

Looks great!

Can you switch one of those dials for navigation/maps like you do on Audi's Virtual Cockpit?

Also, metal pedals, are those R-Sport option or they come standard on 2018 MY cars?

Yes you can switch the screen to show the nav. I drove the XF with the digital dash.

The metal pedals are on option on R-Sport and standard on S. I had to buy them as an accessory for my R-Sport 2017.

Nave on the center gauge is one of Porsche's best interior design features. Nice to see it on the Jag!

Love the NAV in the Gauge cluster. Really a big difference when driving around the city. The NAV just needs some improvements which are hopefully coming soon.

I haven't tried using the InControl NAV apps to the gauge cluster which would really be cool. I doubt this is possible, but I will have to do some further testing this weekend.
