Default Gearbox oil leak

Cleaning the engine, I saw this in the gearbox, is it worrisome?
I have a Jaguar XE RWD 180cv R-Sport

Please tell us more about the car - year, and mileage, (or kms), when last serviced, is it still on warranty. This looks like a small oil leak but not something to ignore, but probably OK to carry on driving. Any drips coming down onto your driveway or where you park the car ?

Hi. The car was purchased in February of this year, it is from the year 2016 and has 53,000km. Apparently, the timing chain had been replaced by the famous noise of the ingenium engines and the engine was not well sealed.
Due to the coronavirus, the car was not received until May 12 at the official dealer.
Regards.

OK, so it's not a gearbox leak, but an engine leak, and from looking at your rather shaky video, the leak is at the cam-cover gasket. So this may not be too complicated to replace. but that's just a guess as I don't know the detail of the Ingenium engine. Have you a warranty on the car ?
Here is a link to drawings of the Ingenium engine. Try to identify which part is leaking and post back here.

Fortunately, it has a two-year warranty.
I leave you a photo of the engine marking the oil leak.
Regards.

That looks like the cylinder head to block joint, so the head has to come off to fix. Good job you took out a warranty !

Should they take out the engine to correct the leak?

Normally with a head gasket failure only the cylinder head has to come off, the rest of the engine would remain in the car.

Leak repaired. Almost 4 weeks in the workshop. Slow repair due to lack of personnel due to the Covid-19.
The warranty took over the repair.
A greeting.
