Default HUD Stopped Working...Fuse wiggled out

Just wanted to post that after a recent service my Jaguar XE's HUD stopped working. So I go and check to see if it's disabled in the instrument cluster, and the Menu does not show an option for the HUD anymore. Weird.
On another post somewhere I read a dude got his working again by replacing (repositioning) the HUD fuse in the boot. I found that indeed the HUD fuse was wiggled out enough to break contact. I checked all the other fuses and each of them needed to be pushed back into the sockets, all of them had backed out some. Re-seating the fuse fixed the HUD.
Moral to this story...check your fuse boxes for dislodging fuses.
BTW I just installed velocityap downpipes and had them port my supercharger, with the E85 tune this thing really moves along. Can't wait for the next Texas Mile!

I had the charger installed last week. Hard to quantify any HP gains as I also had the downpipes replaced same time, but the combination of the two had added a little HP to my Butt dyno (maybe 10Hp but more Torque?). I was hoping to get out on the open road this Weekend for some Dragy runs, but I can say these changes feel like thay yielded small improvements. I plan to run the Texas Mile Again, where any improvements should yield a faster time than last year, we will see. The VAP downpipes and removal of the center resonator have made my car louder, from inside the cab with the roof cracked if you juice it you can really hear the exhaust, but in a cruising situation it does not drone or sound too loud for me.

Very very cool! I look forward to hearing how it does! I would assume you are closing in on P8 numbers...
