Default New XE 20d owner!

Hi all,
i just bought a 2017 XE 20d the day before yesterday and man, am I a happy girl! It's Italian racing red with oyster interior. It had been the loaner car at the dealership and had very low mileage. Such a smooth and quiet ride but every now and then it likes to growl a little bit. I've had 3 previous Lexus hybrids and this is a dream come true. My husband loves that it's diesel. This is the start of a beautiful friendship.

Never heard someone say that about a Jag! I assume you're in the US? Does he drive a diesel?

Welcome to Jaguar ownership and enjoy your new XE!

Yes, we are in the US. Husband doesn't drive a diesel (yet), but we love the better gas mileage and the power.

Thanks! We're enjoying the heck out of it. In the early 90's I bought a 1973 Jaguar XJS (?) that was in the shop more than I drove it. Later on I got an X-type that I loved, then the next 6 cars were hybrids. This a real car and I drive it as such!

That’s a beautiful car. The oyster is gorgeous but it takes work or stay nice. Get some McGuire’s wipes, throw them in truck, and wipe the interior down every week or so. Welcome to the world of driving a world class handling sport sedan that not everyone and their dog has.
