Hi guys ,so I picked up my XE R-Sport 2.0D 2017 a few days ago. Sadly someone was on her phone and came crashing into me. Clearly car has a high safety standard ,now my question is the impact was right on the exhaust. When the car goes in for repairs what other things should I get them to check besides the frame ? Thanks

 

Are there any exotic indy repair shops near you? Have them put it on a lift and look around.

 

They will take into a repair shop but the insurance guys also told me not to drive it till then.There is clear visible damage on the exhaust tips but not sure if that can also affect the oxygen sensors due to the impact?

 

I would suggest a 2nd inspection outside of the shops your insurance company recommends just to make sure the inspection comes out the same.
