Hi all,

While leaving work, I started my XE (2017) and a message on my dashboard informed me that scheduled maintenance was required in 1900 miles. I’m not exactly sure how the EliteCare plan works. Is this simply just a reminder that I need an oil change? Also, if required, can I schedule an oil change through a third party (PepBoys, NTB etc..)? I called my dealership and they are booked until the beginning of the new year. This is unfortunate because I plan on taking a road trip for the holidays.

The reminder is based on both time and mileage, and yes, it's reminding you that it's nearly time for scheduled maintenance (which could include more than an oil change.) Check the maintenance schedule in your manual.
