Default VAP Tune and Pulley Questions

As I posted in my intro, I have a 17 xe 35t that at the very least I’d like to add the stage 1 vap tune to.

Can anyone here speak on the reliability post a tune and pulley? I understand the S has 380hp and I think the same torque figures, but adding 115bhp and 108 ft lbs of torque seems a bit concerning when it comes to drivetrain reliability. I guess my main concern would be is the tune able to add enough fuel to manage the air to fuel ratio needed with the extra boost. Last thing I need is the car to pull timing due to knock issues and ruin the pistons.

I know this topic has been broached several times, but most of what I see on here, or anywhere for that matter, is quite aged or doesn’t really touch on the reliability aspect. Any input would be appreciated.

I have posted about this a few times, but I have had the VAP "with pulley" tune (450 hp) on my F-Type V6S for some 3.7 years now and it has been completely reliable without a single problem, and I have never read or heard of anyone having a problem with this tune.
The only possible downside is that the pulley and tune may in certain conditions result in more heat being generated by the SC leading to more heat soak which then invokes the ECU "safe mode" (to protect the cats) which pulls the timing.

Appreciate the input. Is there any difference between our drivetrains that would allow your car to support the increased power better (aside from a LSD which I think your car has an mine certainly doesn’t)?

No difference that I know of (apart from the mechanical LSD which yes my F-Type has), other than maybe just maybe the so-called "quickshift" version of the ZF 8HP70 in the F-Type which may have a different tune to that in your XE.
