Hello, I'm new to this jag game, it's a fantastic drive and has a beautiful interior.

Last week whilst driving, i was slowing down when i noticed a weird sound coming from the back of the car. It only makes the noise when im coming to a complete stop. It sounds like liquid being moved about with crank noises. Then the other morning when I started the car the same noise happened as the engine turned on. I'm not to sure what's going on if this has happened before to anyone, any advice would be appreciated.

 

Sounds like liquid? I remember reading about some people having leaks in the boot (trunk), and the spare wheel well would fill up with water in a storm. These were purely anecdotal tales and I can't imagine you'd hear it (especially on startup, without the car moving), but might be worth a look.

If you have a dashcam maybe look through the footage to see if the sound was caught, or leave your camera in the back seat (or the boot) recording video while you go for a drive... without actually hearing it, it might be tough to figure out!

 

Thank you, the exhaust is abit loose so its the rattling vibration I was hearing. One of the barracks is loose so it's making the exhaust rattle.

The only noise I usually hear comes from the passenger seat, more of a whining noise, asking me to slow down...
