Default Where do you put emergency to start the car

Hi,

i have managed to loose the keys for the car however thanks to my daughter I have the emergency key she is 2 and kept taking it apart, fortunately this was a good thing as I lost the fob and now have the smart key.

where is the start slot for the key to start the car with this small key?

Please help.

I think you still need the FOB.

I don't think you can start the car with a key.

You can start the car with the In Control app but you still need the fob to drive. As soon as you try to drive it will shut down if it does not sense the fob in the car. I don’t think it’s possible to drive without the fob. The small key was meant to be used if the battery is dead and the door locks don’t work.

The OP seems to have lost interest.
Probably discovered the only solution is to throw loads of cash at the dealer
