Hi Everyone.
I have a 2013 XF 3.0 AWD with 70,000 miles on it. There is a slight coolant leak, and my mechanic says it is the plastic tubes that run from the water pump and under the supercharger. Apparently this is a know issue for the car and the tubes are on back order and about $130 but the installation is the expensive part because the supercharger will have to be removed to get to the job site.

My questions are:
1. Is this indeed a know issue and does it all makes sense the way it is described to me?
2. If so, is there a better part than the "know issue" OEM which common sense says I'll be in the same place in another 70,000 odd miles?

If you have suggestions here, links would also be much appreciated.

Try the X250 forum for a better chance of an answer. I'm assuming it's a gas engine? I hope they solved this issue with the X260.
