Hi,

Has anyone had this issue? “navigation SD card reader error”

My car is under warranty so I’ve taken my car to the dealership to fix the issue. I brought my car to the dealership 2x with the last 3 weeks and it is still having the issue. The error pops up and ends up rebooting the entire navigation system, sat radio, etc.

Can anyone give me any insight on my issue? I only have 15k miles on my car and it’s a 2016 XF.

 

Yea, I've had a similar problem with my '16 XF. The Nav/Radioi/Climate control will reboot for no apparent reason. Happens randomly. Jag has tried for three years to fix it with no success. The last thing they tried was to replace the antenna. When you bring it in next time, have them check the error codes. But good luck.

 

Sounds obvious but make sure the card is fully inserted. Mine was somehow loose and kept rebooting. A really good shove has sorted it; might need something smaller than a finger if you have stubbby fingers as it goes into a surround before the actual card slot
