Default 2016 XF-S options available now???

Hello all, new to the board and soon to be XF-S owner. Sorry for what will be a rather lengthy post. I just made my mind up on this vehicle over the competition but have a question that I have received 3 different answers to from Jaguar. I called Jaguar USA and asked if the 2016 model XF-S has the available option for the 10.2 inch screen In Control Touch Pro and a 12.3 inch Instrumentation Cluster. After beimg transferred to two different areas I as told "yes it's an option but it is available now on the 16' ". I responded by saying are you sure because I can't find it in any dealer stock anywhere....maybe it's just in Europe or will be available on the 2017 model? he resonded no, it's available here and now. So I hung up with him and contacted 2 of my area Jag dealers and presented the same question. The first one said that 2016 will have the option I mentioned above but they don't have them on site yet. He said they will have them in about 2 months. The 2nd dealer I contacted (about 40 miles away from the other dealer) said that it will be available on the 2017 but they wouldn't have them till the end of the year. I am so confused right now. On the website it shows or the 10.2 inch screen infotainment system.....is this just unicorn advertising? Anyone know the truth? Click on the link and scroll down a little. I had assumed that the large second TFT (the virtual cockpit) came with the Pro model.

This is from the Jag site.

JAGUAR INCONTROL® TOUCH PRO™
InControl Touch Pro™ advances the XF technology to the next level by providing a 10.2 inch Touch-screen in the center console and a customizable, High Definition, 12.3 inch TFT instrument cluster.

Sorry, I posted before I saw this. I'm a newb, too ...

The system is called InControl. 8" touchscreen. The Pro model has a 10" touchscreen and the large TFT screen in place of gauges.

Good to know I'm not the only Newbie. I know what your saying, but the 10.2" is advertised but it doesn't exist anywhere....(USA at least)

Really? It's on the configurator on the site. You can choose it in your build...

Yeah you can build it but it's not available.....I don't why they are allowing it to be an option on the US website because you can't get it.

That's bad business, to say the least. I see lots of XFs at $73K+ and wonder how they get that high without that upgrade ...

The 10.2" is not available for the XF yet as they are still working on it, that's why there is no price shown on the configurator.

Psyco, I hear you but it's available overseas and in the F-Pace and they are flat out advertising it on the website (huge, gorgeous HD picture) as available now and allowing it in the build component. When you say that they are still working on it what does that mean exactly? Thanks

Hey, that's right. I had watched the price climb as I built, but just noticed that choosing the 10.2" track pack doesn't increase the price ... Same with the Connected pack.

I have a 2017 XF S on order with all options (except black pack), the 10.2 Pro wasn't available on the 2016. I ordered it last week of January - build date was March 11th and my dealer should get it by the end of April. I should get it May 4th at least thats what the order says.

That sounds like my upcoming order, after I choose colors, settle this issue, and pull the trigger. Can I ask MSRP? $77K?

My dealer seems in the dark about this issue, only pointing me to the official info showing it to be an option - even on the 2016 ...

Actually a bit over $90K but I'm in Canada and our dollar is worthless!

I was able to get british racing green with the black/brogue combination for the interior which wasn't available on the 2016. Also the incontrol protect and connect were rolled into the technology package with the tft screen and 825 watt stereo system etc.

MSRP? $73k is what I got for that exact build with a promise that it WILL include the InControl Touch Pro/Meridian 825w sound system. And that was with almost no haggling.

I just ordered it Friday. Dealer says "eight to ten weeks." No build date as yet, but I'll follow up with him next week on that.

The word I got today (my salesman texted me from Cancun!) was that he's hearing I could have my XF with the Pro in August. He'll let me know more soon.
