Now, perhaps these are UK customers, but what difference does it make if you're a UK or US customer to warrant an August versus April delivery?

Makes no sense, but I'm going to ask my dealer why people seem to be getting conflicting advice and to again confirm that the car will arrive with the Pro system.

 

Guess what option disappeared from the Jag US configurator for the XF? Yep, ICTP and the 825w Meridian system. My salesman is in Michigan this week and is supposed to confirm my order the start of next week, however, I received a strange and unsolicited email from the Sales Manager yesterday providing his phone number and telling me "how complicated car ordering can be" although not mentioning any "issues" with my order.

I made it absolutely clear - no ICTP, no sale. I put no money down. I signed nothing. Dealership supposedly did it on a handshake, which frankly I found odd.

I suspect that my search begins anew next week. Seems a shame because I was sold on this car, but I'm not taking a car without the features I've supposedly ordered.

 

Yup. ICTP is still on the configurator for the F Pace. Obviously a shortage and we came out on the short end of the triage.

 

Mine was over 75K MSRP with every upgrade available in the book, except the large touchscreen. They advertise it on the site but it just does not seem to be available here.

 

steves1101 Did you get it??? All we hear here in California is no 2017 XF's for awhile. They seem to be focusing on the 2017 XE which is not in the showrooms, but can be ordered.

 

Actually its been stuck in Halifax as there is a CN rail strike and my sales agent was let go last week, however they are having it specially shipped and it left Halifax yesterday so it looks like I should have it mid to late week as I ordered lots of dealer options.

I looked at the XE but it doesn't have the in control touch pro option and lots of other things so I stuck with the XF.

 

The XF is so much more vehicle than the XE in my opinion. I built both and although the XF is about 12K more, it is well worth it.

I will be very interested in how your In Control Pro works out. I have the In Control as the Pro was not available here.

 

Just had an update. Jaguar is holding the first shipment of 2017 XF's in Halifax for the ICTP software update tomorrow. They will then go on a train and I should have it by month end.
