The challenge lies in the fact that Google is currently restricting access to phonebook, call history, and messages. I own a 2018 model of the Jaguar XF, and it seems to be operating on older technology. Unfortunately, there doesn't seem to be a willingness to provide backward compatibility for these features. 🚗📞 #GoogleRestrictions #JaguarXFIssues

Do you mean that if the contacts are stored locally on the phone, then it works?

It essentially boils down to the consumer's perspective. Take Jaguar, for instance, acting as the consumer in this scenario; it requires access to the PBAP profile. If companies like Samsung or Sony have found alternative methods through customized Android operating systems, it might address the issue.

However, merely having access to contacts won't suffice in the car. We need the call audio to pass through Bluetooth for a seamless experience, which may pose a challenge. To explore this further, I'll try connecting with a Samsung A51 or my friend's phone and share my findings with you. This is based on my technical experience and initial thoughts. 🚗📲 #BluetoothDilemma #TechExploration

After conducting a thorough analysis, I have identified a recurring issue affecting Bluetooth connectivity across several devices. Specifically, I am utilizing a Pixel 2 running Android 11, a Pixel 4 with Android 13, and a Pixel 8 with Android 14, in addition to a Samsung A51 running Android 13.

It is noteworthy that the Samsung A51 exhibits flawless performance, seamlessly handling music playback, calls, text messages, and WhatsApp calls. However, all Pixel devices are experiencing recurrent Bluetooth disconnections, approximately every 15-20 seconds.

This leads me to believe that the root cause may be attributed to the Google Pixel settings or the overall design of the Google Pixel system.
