2017 XE R-Sport vs XF R-Sport.
Both are 3.5t engines. Both go for roughly the same price on the used market $27k-31k for a 2017 with 30k miles. Most likely lease returns.
I figure the XEs would be slightly faster to the lower weight but none of them I see have bi-xenon. Halogen w/ LED running lights.
The XF R-Sports I’ve seen had the amazing 360 view camera, sport seats, and HUD (heads up display) with active cruise control.
What would be your pick for a daily commuter? My main car is a F-Type R AWD. I test drove a XF R-Sport and I gotta say it was pretty quick relatively speaking. I dont know the 0-60 but I think the XE is under 5 seconds like 4.8.

For me it came down to size. I have a family of 4 and we typically use our sedan (as opposed to our gas thirsty SUV) for daily people hauling and a few road trips each year. Compared to the XE, the XF has more backseat room and more trunk space so it was a no brainer for us.
Do you really need the extra space the XF provides? If I didn't have kids I'd go with the XE 35t no question. It's going to be lighter, quicker and more maneuverable in tight spaces.
