Default 2017 XF-S has arrived

And it is spectacular. Everything works and the in control touch pro is well worth the wait. Interesting how they supply the data in Canada by using AT&T and roaming it through one of the Canadian carriers. Not sure how they do it but it works. I shouldn't have ordered so many options as it will take weeks for me to figure out everything.

Default A few 2017 XF S pics

Here are a few pics. I didn't do the interior as I ordered black suede with brogue and 35% tint .

Would love to see interior especially in those colors!

Are there any interior changes between MY16 & MY17?

I can try and take a few pictures but the interior is pretty dark. My last XF had ivory interior so I wanted something darker and I sure got it. I'm not sure what the standard interior is as I ordered the premium upgrade. From the dash to the back the roofline is black suede. The seats are brogue. The dash and sides etc are black with oyster stitching. I'll give it a try later this week.

Congrats! Car looks awesome! If you don't mind me asking but how much of a discount did you get? Curious to see what the Toronto dealers are offering for the 2017's since there are still many 2016's still available.

2% plus a pretty good trade in. I wasn't expecting anything since I ordered it. I'm have some Swiss sport pedals installed Monday and I think they are paying for those too.

I always found it funny when they make the rims with a 'spinning forward design' [on your passenger side] but when the rims are on the other side of the car they look like they are 'spinning backwards' [drivers side]

The oddity of one rim mold that suffices for both sides of the car. If you bought aftermarket wheels you can sometimes order left and rights, I watched them make alloy wheels and the process is really simple, melt the alloy, cast the wheel, put it on a lathe like machine and it cuts the excess away and then they are sand blasted or polished, powder coated in clear or colors, and out they go in a box. We all believe we used to be getting "mag" wheels and I was amazed to see them throw a tube of magnesium into the melter so they could be called mag wheels. Unlike the very early days when the wheels were significantly higher in magnesium, lighter and would actually burn in high temps. Now they just call them alloys.

Gorgeous car! Congrats. I love that the BRG is now metallic BRG. Wow, like a big emerald!

Were the window surrounds already SS and you just did the B-Pillars? Or did you do the entire surrounds? Looks great. I did the black pack just for that sinister look.
