Hey . If can somebody help me ..,

i have an xf 2.2 diesel 190cp 2013 ,whit the message “battery not charging “ . I have checked the battery , i looks like everything is ok , alternator also . I changed also the minus cable , and i’ve run also a Jaguar Tester to a local dealer . Everything is normal . But i still have the message on bord .. can anybody help me ?

 

Sounds like an alternator problem, isn't giving enough charge to the battery. How did you test the alternator? It could be the battery too. I'm not familiar with diesel engines..is there a slippage on serpentine belt, if old, change it. If you are in the USA, go to AutoZone, O'Riellys, NAPA, AAP or any auto parts that sells batteries and they'll check the alternator & battery for you FREE OF CHARGE.
