Crank Main bolts
Hi everyone I am new to the forum but have browsed and found lots of useful info.
My boss bought a 2015 XF 3.0 Supercharged from the auction. It had a bad knock. So we removed the engine and tore it down.
We found the lower bearing had spun. So we got everything cleaned up machined and got ready to put back together. But now Im having issues finding the main cap bolts anywhere.
Dealer laughed at me and said you cant get the bolts and they only come with the short block at the nice cost of 14k.
Very annoyed with that and obviously wont be going and buying a short block just to have new bolts.
I would reuse the old bolts but 4 of them broke during removal.
Just wondering if anyone had dealt with this before and what else my options would be from this point. Do i just try and match some bolts from another engine that are same size?
There are 20 bolts total that hold the main caps. 10 of them are M10x1.5 x 96MM and the other 10 are M8 x 1.25 x 91MM
Or if anyone has a lead on them that would be great.
Thank you in advance.

JLR Engine Parts
He lists rods, bearings, pistons, head bolts and a lot more all brand new. Maybe send him a message if you can't find what you need?

It does seem that Jaguar is greatly restricting the availability of a range of internal engine parts for the Ingenium engine, with people mentioning non-availability of pistons, bearings, con-rods, crankshafts, camshafts and more. Their answer is always to try to sell you a short block and I suspect they've made a commercial decision to do this to encourage sales of such blocks.
Jaguar has just announced that it is stopping production of all but one of its ICE engined cars, so I expect that production of the Ingenium engines will begin to be wound down as Jaguar pursue only EVs for the future. This does not augur well for future availability of any ICE related spare parts.
Very bad customer service.

Latest media information the sales of EVs isn't good. Different manufacturers have stopped their EV production due to over stock. The honeymoon for EVs is over. They aren't going away but all the low hanging fruit has been picked.

I suspect (but I don't know!) that the crankshaft main cap bolts for the AJ133 V8 would be the same as those on the AJ126, maybe worth some research to check this out.

Only one problem, the OP is talking about the AJ126 V6 petrol and not any Ingenium engine. Giveaway - supercharged.
