I haven’t gotten a resolution to my issues through searching threads about this.

2017 XF 52k miles.

I noticed some moisture in the drivers side headlamp and thought nothing about it until a few days ago I saw a reflection of my car in a window and the driver side DRL isn’t on. It’s not my daily car. I drive it maybe once a week around town. Checked battery and it’s fine. Checked fuses and nothing out of the ordinary.

I was quoted $3500usd for new headlight assembly and labor. Waiting to hear back on a used one. This is from a euro indie shop not dealer. Anybody else has had this issue before?

This really sucks because I really dont drive the vehicle. I have had it since 2020 and bought it as a CPO with 44k miles. CPO expired in ‘22.

 

Check and clean the headlight main power connector plug. See if that works. Is it LED or Xenon type headlights?
