indicator click and door chime problems

indicator click and door chime problems
hi.
A fault has occurred today with my warning and indicator sounds.
The indicator tick changed to a different sound a few weeks back and now the door open warning gong sound has failed. Theres still audio but it sounds almost like the speaker has blown or theres a loose connection.
Ive tried to search on various forums but most that have this issue have never had a reply.I did find one post saying the whole instrument cluster needs replacing so I praying theres a simple DIY fix!
2008 Jag XF its the premium lux, i think its the standard speakers but it does have the sub. cheers chaps!
