Hello, I'm new to the forum. I am having a problem with my 2910 Jaguar XF Premium, the shifter knob is stuck and won't rise up. It was doing fine with no problems and then the next morning when I started the car the knob wouldnt raise up for me to put it in gear. Has anyone else had this problem and if so anyone have any sugguestions? I read something that said to see if the knob would go in gear even though it wouldnt raise up and it won't. Help please. I'm right in the middle of a big move this couldn't have happened at a worse time. Thank you for any help you can give me it's greatly appreciated.

 

You can still switch gears even though the gear shift will not rise up. Just press down with your thumb & the index finger on top of the gear shift to get around it.
Your 2910 (I would assume that's a 2019) XF, is still under warranty. "IF" the mileage on the car is less than 60K miles (good for Jaguar USA only)
