Default XF climate control

Hi
I have a 2013 XF 2.2 diesel. The vents stopped opening the other night. I googled reasons for this and low battery was the main answer so I trickle charged the battery. The stop start is now working again so the battery is fully charged but the vents still won’t open and the fan won’t come on. The outside temperature reads as blank on the climate control. Have also tried disconnecting the battery which made no difference.
any help and suggestions appreciated.

Lindsay

Hi, did you manage to get a fix for this? Mine is doing exactly the same (2014 XF S 3.0D). I suspect the battery, but would be nice to get some confirmation before spending the money on it.

It’s best to get the fault codes read. My problem was with the central fuse board in the drivers footwell. Corrosion in this caused by water from the screen washer pump.
fuse board replaced and water pump for screen washer replaced. Cost £1250 at Sandeman’s Forfar. Fuse board was £575 then VAT on top!
Car now running like a dream.
Hope this helps.

Hi, you're actually in the X260 forum (MY 2015 onwards).
There's a X250 forum on this site where you may get more answers.
