I just bought a '14 XFR-S the other day, and when looking at it straight on this morning, there appears to be what looks like a camera lens on the outward facing side off the rear view mirror. Does anyone know what this is, if not an actual camera?

 

Sensor for the auto-headlights?

 

Glued to the glass is the rain/moisture sensor for the automatic wipers. Or if on the actual rearview mirror housing it looks like the auto high beam sensor for the cars that have that feature.

I'm taking her in to a Jaguar service center next week for an after the fact pre-purchase inspection, so I'll ask when I'm there.

 

I do have that feature and saw it in action for the first time the other night coming home from work. Love it!
