I just wanted to post up a pic of my engine mounts after 145k. I was recently hearing a lot more odd noises and feeling way too much road than normal. I replaced my mounts, which you can see were completely shot, and she is smooth again! Much quieter and since I finally replaced the SC coupler with a solid one, she shuts down without the dreaded clunk again. This time the coupler spring was still intact but it was ready to die any day. This was my 4th coupler over 145k miles so far.
Were you getting the death wobble, or just more vibration at idle? Did you use OEm? or aftermarket and if so whom? I am in need I'm sure as well at 133,000 miles...

my symptoms were excessive vibration at idle, and the engine was definitely louder, but what finally clued me in was the steering. When turning slowly to the right I had a clunck, and eventually a slight binding/ sticking point which was scary. Mine were so degraded that the engine had dropped enough to cause the steering angle to cause the knuckle to bind at a certain point.
I tried to order online (Amazon) and change myself, and even though I had my repair manual and part numbers we’re supposed to be the same as the oem call outs from topix when I finally got to access them they were the wrong parts. Super frustrating because it was a real bear to get access. So I ended up using oem.
There is extremely little room to work. The attached repair manual makes it look easy, but access to those bolts is almost impossible even if you had a lift. To access the bolts from the top you need to snake around with several extensions and knuckles and get lucky. What made it worse for me was the parts I ordered C2D19070 were what was called out by the dealer, and also what came up on all the parts websites. They were not right. Regardless what the dealer and websites showed, my mounts are as shown in the repair manual and in my pic. They do not have a long bolt on the bottom, the have an integrated bracket with two holes for downward bolts, and one top bolt to accept a downward nut.
In the end, I became very frustrated, and very begrudgingly took it in to the dealer. I felt somewhat redeemed when they had to keep the car an extra week because the mounts they ordered were also not the correct ones. It was a pricey repair, but I do notice a lot of benefits.
