20" XJ Kasuga rims on XF
Hey all,
Wondering if anyone's put on a set of the 20" XJ Kasuga rims on an XF.
I've got a '12 XF base and was curious 1) if they would fit, and 2) if anyone has any pics of an XF with them on.
I'm digging how they look on the XJ, and wanted to keep somewhat of a stock look to my XF with going with these rims.
Thanks all,
J

Thanks again, Executive! Appreciate the response. Since I'm new to the Jag world, our bolt pattern on the XFs is 5 x 108, correct?
Not a problem Psinsyd.
Yes, that is correct. The entire Jaguar line up has the same exact bolt pattern. The only thing you have to watch out for is the offset. The XJs should be fine, i would only worry about the rear wheels off XKs.

I'll keep everyone here posted on if they help me out, and if they fit, if I end up splurging on 'em.
jaguny,
The car posted isn't mine. I just ran across it when i was still shopping for XFs and thought the wheels looked very nice on it, decided to save it.

Hey guys,
Wanted to keep you posted on how things are panning out.
Talked with the service advisor at my dealership and he said that, while the lug pattern and offset would work, the wheel arches aren't the right size to support these wheels. He said that he's seen way too many rolled/bent fender lips due to this.
He did mention that the factory XF 19" or 20" would work however, and that I would have to bet the computer flashed to accommodate for the new wheel/tire size.
Anyone know any additional specific specs for the 19" and 20" XF rims? I'm guessing since all of them have the same lug pattern, that the offset is key. I'm exploring options as far as a set of summer wheels if I have to stick with OEM or can go aftermarket with absolutely NO rubbing.
Thanks guys,
J

You also wouldn't need a computer flash for different wheels. You'd get a rim/tire combo with the same overall diameter. If you went with a larger rim you'd get a lower profile tire so they'd be the same size as the original rim/tire combo.
What's up with all Jaguar Service advisors these days?
psinsyd,
As stated, you don't need a reflash for new wheels. Maybe they were talking about TPMS sensors?
It's stupid of them to say the wheels won't fit the arches when the wheels are somewhat universal. If the SA took a look in the car lot, he would find XF with XK wheels, XK with XF wheels. I have even seen XKs with XJ SC wheels.

Thanks a ton for the guidance, guys.
Not too crazy about the factory options for 20", so I'm debating about going aftermarket or even just pulling the trigger on the XJ wheels.
I just want to be sure I don't have any concerns about any rubbing whatsoever.
Appreciate it, guys.

ChXFS is correct on the rear offsets for xks. Aftermarkets will be easier to find for a base model than for a SC or R do to larger front brakes.

Speaking of aftermarkets, I'm in love with these and can only imagine what they'd look like on the XF. Looks like they are running just over $1k per wheel...
Who "woulda thunk" it would be so hard to find decent looking wheels for the xf?
These are the Niche Monotec T01 rims. They offer a 21" as well, which I'd be curious about how that would work with the XF.

I've seen photos of XF's with 22's, a hotly debated topic on this forum. The Butler tire web site has a bunch of XF's with aftermarket's. If you are shopping in the $1k per wheel range you have a lot of options. If you want to be in the $400 or so per wheel range, I would look at Lexani, Gianelle, Giovanna, Savini (BM series), Avenue has a few interesting selections, as well as Ace (if fitting a non SC). Verde is the next level down, but you can tell the difference.
