Default 2009 Jaguar XF parking brake, DSC, no cruise control, lights

I have a 2009 Jaguar XF NA 4.2, I am getting several lights of a no DSC fault, no cruise control, parking brake fault, and my parking brake will not engage. I was just driving around 65 mph perfectly fine, then my cruise stop working and I have all these lights. Please help. would it be a parking brake module??

I got underneath the car and had someone apply the parking brake and I see it trying to engage and then it disengages. But it won't stay engaged.

Sounds like the common weak battery issue. Need to try a new battery.

Had the same thing on my 09. I replaced the battery, then realized the bluetooth OBD2 reader I was leaving in the car wasn't turning off after the car did. Eventually it was draining the battery enough to wreak havoc on the electrics.

Look for something draining the battery, then take hlgeorge's advice.

Thanks,

Went and replaced the battery. Still the same issue. There goes $150 of trouble shooting. And driving is annoying because it continues to beep because I can't set the parking brake

As you have a new battery try the reset for the park brake if you haven't already done it.

I already tried to reset it and I hear it working but doesn't stay engaged.

The new Battery needs to be calibrated..Otherwise it will slowly recalibrate on it's own...give it a few days then see a Jag Dealer if it don't clear up.
