Tachometer and Speedometer Stopped Working

hello all
i have a problem in my jaguar s type v6 30 yesterday i have see some cable near of battery and i have torch this cable with ( - ) in battery after this i have see some thing spark in fuse box and the Tachometer and Speedometer and the numbers Stopped Working please any one have idea about my problem ?

Get the workshop manual, find exactly which wires and trace where they go. If that's too hard, find a technician who can do it.

I think you're saying you found a loose wire and touched the end to the negative battery terminal.

Unless you were very lucky and just burnt a fuse I think you've shorted out something expensive.
