Hello JaguarForum I recently bought a 2010 Jaguar XF 5.0 love the car but I can hear a knocking ticking noise coming from the engine. I took it back to the dealership and they told me that's how the XF sound! I'm thinking they gave me the run around since I'm still on the 30 day warranty! Just hoping this forum can give me better help then the dealer!!

 

Welcome to the forum. There was a recent thread all about that same noise. Turned out to be typical on many of these cars. I don't remember the specifics but search around for a while and see if you can find it. And then compare to your symptoms to see if it's the same
