Default 2010 navi POI issue also?

I have been through the navi options and feel I have the one picked to show up but they do not.

If I recall correctly, they do when I am on a "trip" but to just driving without guidance. I will do a guidance trip to work tomorrow to test that out.

Is this normal.

I read the 2012 systems having an issue, does the older one also have the same issue with POI showing up?

Thanks, got it.

Here it is cut from Dick's post in another thread in case others are searching.

- touch screen anywhere on the map (called "browse mode");
- pick "points of interest" top of screen;
- pick category(ies), then pick "local points of interest" bottom of screen;
- pick "on route" bottom right of screen.
