Default 2010 XF Bluetooth Issue

I just recently bought a 2010 XF. The Bluetooth only works for the phone. There is no way to access audio with the Bluetooth. Is there some sort of update to make this possible?

I really like this one:
Amazon.com: BlackBerry ACC-41596-001 Music Gateway - Retail Packaging - Black: Cell Phones & Accessories Amazon.com: BlackBerry ACC-41596-001 Music Gateway - Retail Packaging - Black: Cell Phones & Accessories

It doesn't have a battery, but for a car, you don't need a battery. You can just plug it into the usb port in the center console. As soon as the car powers up, this unit is on and paired with your phone.

I am big fan of Spotify for the content.

Does your phone have any BT settings under advanced that say something like "Connect using an alternate method", etc, like Windows Phone O/S has? That resolved the issue in my 2013 with the same initial issue.

I have a 2010 XF also. I have been using the Tune2Air for over a year. Before this I tried many others with mixed success. The Tune2Air plugs into the iPhone connector in the console and operates exactly as if the iPhone was plugged in to the cable, including operating from the XF screen and steering wheeel. Once paired it is completely automatic. It may seem expensive, but it is the only one I have found that operates completely seamlessly. If you search this forum you will find my detailed description of how this works. You can get it at Amazon.
