2011 XF Steering Wheel panel is loose

2011 XF Steering Wheel panel is loose

Hi All, noticed today that the silver panel on the right side of the steering wheel (the side where the cruise control knobs are) is loose. Does anyone know how to tighten it? I assume the Up shifter needs to be removed to get to it, but need to make sure. Thanks!

Yes, there's a full warranty, but I hate to bring it in for something that could take 5 minutes to fix...Ya know what I mean?

Unless it's really really bad I'd just leave it for when you bring it in next. It might be a clip that is worn out and the panel needs to be replaced.
