Smile 2011 XF Supercharged

Evening everyone. Got yellow service engine light two weeks ago. Went to dealer and was told light was for lean codes for both banks and that a malfunctioning pcv was causing the condition. Dealer quoted $2700 to replace. After I stopped laughing I started to think that because the engine is direct injected and they have can make the top of the engine fairly dirty with carbon and oil deposits would using something like seafoam top engine cleaner help with the pcv or is the pcv a diaphragm type that tears and cleaning will not help. If it can not be fixed/cleaned then has anyone seen any video directions of dismantling this type of motor. According to the dealer the pcv is integrated into the valve cover, thus this will entail removing the supercharger. Any information would be greatly appreciated.

You need the codes. Can't just run magic juice to fix it.
The car is very complicated and there are dozens of codes concerning the PCV system.

Read the attached document for the setup and how it works.

PCV's are in an easy to reach location in these cars. Parts might be expensive. Did they break down parts and labor?
