Default Ch-ch-changes

Not many. New headlights. Slightly altered grill. Mildly tweaked tail-lights. Possible changes to nav system. Possible smaller 6-cylinder petrol engine to fit under the V8's.

Smaller than the existing 3.0 V6 petrol???

Jag is probably working on a supercharged version of either that 3.0 or, more likely, Ford's newer 3.5 or 3.7 liter versions of that V6.

The new Audi S4 supercharged engine shows what can be done. The proposed F Type needs that V6 but also needs the power of a supercharged version to be a credible addition to the range. The XF and XJ can also both benefit from these types of engines. The steel XF and the aluminum XJ are about the same weight.
