Default 2012 XF Portfolio

Hello,

This is my first post.

I am currently in the market for a 2012 XF Portfolio.

There are several dealers with 2012 XFs that have been used as service loaner cars. They all have similar miles (~8k-14k miles). If you have any view on a fair price for 2012 XF Portfolio with 13k miles, I would appreciate it.

Also, how much more premium should I expect to pay for the Portfolio vs. the Base with 1-2 options?

Thank you.

I bought my new Xf SC at a 20 percent discount from msrp last May. I would expect much more than that as you are buying a used car. How much warranty is left?

I believe it's till 03/2016 or 50k miles. So, still plenty of warranty left.

Are any of them certified? That would boost the warranty and the price.

$47 to $50 for the Portfolio.

$43-$46 for the base models.

A fair price is also going to depend on how far you're willing to go to get the car. There are 2012 base models in the upper 30s now and the cheapest 2012 Portfolio model I found was about $43.5K with 9000 miles. There's a Portfolio not too far from me listed at $44K with 14K miles.

Looking closer to San Francisco the cheapest Portfolio listed is $46K and base is $42K. That should give you a good starting point for judging price.

My local dealer just emailed me to say they have a 2012 XF SC with 13k miles for $51k. So I'd imagine you should be mid 40s for a Portfolio tops - and even then if you can spring the extra few thousand...
