Default 2013 A/C Compressor Coil and Clutch

After going through the process to troubleshoot my A/C just stopping one day, I unplugged the battery to do a hard reset and bricked the car with smart key not found. I caved and had the dealer replace KVM and then BCM because I am not set up with SDD, mongoose cable, and wasn't sure about getting the other forum member to help me reflash the modules. So $1800 later, my car is running again but still no A/C. I've gone through another forum post to troubleshoot and I applied voltage to pin 5 of A/C relay to send voltage to the compressor. I used a test light and I can probe the red wire to the coil and it lights up. No voltage on other side of the connector though so I'm guessing the coil isn't energizing (no click) and needs replaced. Everything spins free so not locked up. All fuses are good.

However I'm having some difficulty finding where I think I saw someone replacing the clutch and coil and I believe there is room to perform the repair while still on the car. I can't find which clutch and coil to buy either. I did take a picture of the tag on the compressor and it is a Sanden with DX23-19D629-FA on it. I have seen it is a PXE16 on other posts here. Can someone help guide me on replacing clutch and coil, where to get parts? I've been searching and now I can't find what I'm looking for. Thanks in advance. I'm trying to not just replace the whole compressor which means new orifice and dryer and recharge because it was working perfectly fine prior to just going out.

I went ahead and got a compressor from Rockauto with new dessicant and a seal kit for $300. Had a local shop put it on because I didn't want to open the lines myself, wasn't sure if laying on a concrete floor would work very well for me, and I'd have to have the system vacuumed and charged anyway. Guy who did it said there was no room. $750 labor. So after unplugging battery, bricking the car when I reconnected it, u-haul to dealer, fuel to tow it and drive back ($90), new KVM, new BCM plus labor for those ($1800), #300 to a retired airplane mechanic who dabbles in older Jags, I now have A/C again. Maybe I should have sold to a salvage yard. Hated to do that to an otherwise good car.

Not sure how hard it would have been to get the coil/clutch and replace on the car if I could even get them for a reasonable price and knowing which to get.

Thank you for updating us. Really a case of better not owning a car like this without a good independent shop nearby to deal with all the nonsense they can come up with.
