Is 600 CCA battery enough for 4 cyl.?
I will go to junk yard tomorrow to get a battery. I'll try to get more CCA, but it is 4 cyl engine and turbo engines have low compression. Shouldn't 600 CCA be enough for Florida?
$30+$15 core for a battery, they get more expensive every year.

I have to agree. As touchy as these cars are to batteries that are even slightly less than perfect I think it's crazy to shop for one at a junkyard. Try Costco or Walmart for a good price.
Let us know how it goes. As others have said these cars are quite touchy about the condition of their batteries (and good ones are quite spendy)

Such tester was used in front of me before selling me the batter.

And it was tested while in your car, correct? To test the proper load ( as put on the battery by starting and running a jaguar, you need to use a tester in the car while charging it .
A "good battery" can take a load and will charge the battery quickly under load after starting. You can alternatively use a charger that has the same output as the alternator but its best to see if your alternator can charge the battery.
Here is a decent Youtube video that show you how to do it correctly (with a similar tool and a charger) If the shop did all this you should be good.
