Adjustable Dampers on XF's?
While I was changing out my spark plugs today I noticed that wires were going to the tops of the shocks/struts. I have always thought that when I put the car in Dynamic Mode that the suspension seems firmer but figured it was just my imagination.
After I saw the wires I figured there must be something to it so with my wife in the car we went for a drive and I switched it in and out of Dynamic Mode and we both agree the ride firms up in Dynamic Mode. I think that is why I like having Dynamic Mode engaged all the time, the car is so much better.
Every other thread I have read concerning Dynamic Mode doesn't seem to address adjustable dampers. Do our cars actually have dampers that adjust to a firmer setting when in Dynamic Mode, if not what are the wires for?
