Default Air Bag recall = New dash top for me.

Well Alvarez Jag stripped out a bolt, and broke a tab off my dash top doing my air bag recall, so I'm getting a new dash top on Jags dime, a $3200 value..lol

At that rate you should get them to replace all the other air bags as well and end up with a complete new interior for nix!

I did recently. No reported problems. No squeeks or anything new. Not sure if you remember, but I got a new dash about six months into ownership because of a big bubble around the center speaker.

Good think you didn't drive to Anaheim to get it done!

I'm in Cali with a Canadian spec 09 XF. Jaguar Canada says it isn't subject to the airbag recall and of course it doesn't even come up as a valid VIN when I check on the US recall site.....somehow I feel I'm being lost in the shuffle and driving around with defective airbags......and btw I also have a bubbling dashboard.....woe is me
