Welcome to the forum gtunstal.
Please post an intro in the new members section when you can.
You need to give us more details on your car, year engine, etc, did this happen overnight? Have you had work done recently? Anything else that might be relevant.

The point is fairly obvious isn't it? Some additional info would be nice though.
Perhaps that's what you were implying?

i think that 16 is the lowest the control panel can be set to but this should not be required to get the car interior cool enough. Put the system in Auto and set the temp to 20-24ish. Give the car about 10 minutes to catch up and all should be fine. Don't play with any of the settings , especially fan speed, during this period.

If thisw doesn't work take the car to an AC specialist.

So are we talking about a control read out or the actual air temp from the vents?

Jaguars lose 5% - 10% refrigerant per year. If your 2014 XF has not had the AC serviced since new it could be very low by now.

The bad news is the cost of refrigerant in the UK has rocketed this year. At the end of last year an 11kg cylinder (the size typically used by the trade) was under £20. Now it's over £300 and rising.

Unfortunately the point was not that obvious but once the OP supplied enough details, relevant information was provided by others to help diagnose the problem.

Sorry for my negative comments but I get quite frustrated when people ask for help but don't think or bother to supply enough information to others. It's a bit like telling your doctor that you're feeling sick and expecting to get a diagnosis without providing any further details.
