Had my 09 XF Supercharged into Hennessy Jaguar last week for its 100K service and to troubleshoot the check engine light being on. They have advised me that the air intake hose is leaking (discovered via smoke test) and needs to be replaced. The issue being the hose is on the back side of the engine such that the engine has to be dropped from the car to access it. Estimate of about $3000 for the repair - ouch! Any suggestions, or just bite the bullet and get it done? No performance or starting issues at all at this point, other than the check engine light being on I wouldn't know there was an issue.
