New to the jaguar forum and have posted my intro in the appropriate place. Read all -well many of them- posts regarding overfilling of oil. My cars oil was changed by dealership before I purchased a couple of weeks ago. In getting familiar with the electronic oil level gauge I noticed the oil over full check handbook message. Siphoned out over 24 ozs. Before the message showed Oil Ok. Hopefully no permanent damage but a reminder to always check after the dealer changes your oil.
