I recently purchased a 09 xf sc in black with the black and spice interior. I am thinking of blacking out most of the chrome.
I ordered a set of black side vents and I plan on covering the chrome window surrounds with gloss black vinyl as well as the chrome blades in the grill. Still deciding on the grill and rear trunk chrome. I was also thinking of having the Volans sprayed in gun metal as I also picked up a set of center caps from the f-type that have the gray Union Jack instead of the growler.

Any thoughts on my plans

Future plans include rear lower defuser and Mina exhaust
