Been trying to look for info on sales for the XF. Just like to know if this is the break (or not) that Jag needs to help rebuild the company.

Any of you Jag employed techs have any info?

i heard 9000 were sold in north america.. and 15000 world wide.. for the 1st and second week of sales.. dealers are selling them everyday.. there selling like hot cakes.. not as good as the s type.. did in 99 but they will sell even more in the summer .

 

I know in two weeks as of today we have sold 31 cars. Have 8 more on the lot delivered today will be in customer hands tomorrow. So that will be 39 in two weeks. Not bad.

 

yea couple days a go we i did 6 pdi's .. sweet we sold like 10 already.. you guys are a bigger dealer then us..

 

Yeah....we supposed to be one of the biggest in North America.
28 techs for Jag only. 5 Aston Techs. I think 20 Rover techs.

 

Talked to my dealer today. Aside from informing me that my XF s/c came in , he said that orders being taken today may be as long out as September to take delivery. He said he's taken orders almost daily sight unseen. I hope this continues for Jag.

May i suggest you putting some accesories in it. I just did one with illuminated tread plates, chrome mirrors and power vents, pedal kit and stainless trunk finisher. Man it looked sharp. Was first one we have done. The illuminated tread plates are so hot.

Did you take any pics of the car? I'd like to see what the illuminated tread plates look like. As for any add-on, I think I'm going to enjoy the car for a while before I go crazy. I'm already starting out with about $10,000 more than I wanted to spend on a car (although I know I won't regret it).

These what your talking about? I guess I'm a little disappointed that that is not already on the auto. My wifes Lexus came with that feature. Is it hard to install these things?

I don't know what you are referring to. No pic or anything in your post. These are the treadplates, but picture doesnt do them justice at all.

It isntsomething I would recommnd doing yourself. You have to swap pins in the wiring harness.

You should get a pic of the sill plates at night fjt...wonder if you'd be able to alter the color of the sill plates?
