Anyone have a part number or equivalent replacement?
The letters are wearing off and I would like to either replace it or cover it with an applied aftermarket piece. Any information or recommendations? Thanks in advance!
Sadly Jaguar don't list that cover as a separate part - as you might imagine the shifter comes as an entire unit. I think your best bet is finding the cheapest used part you can on eBay - preferably one that is faulty but that cover is in good condition, then disassemble both units to swap the cover over but retain your internals.
Found one! Amazingly it was only $18 +$14 shipping for the entire assembly. I looked on eBay and couldn’t find it. I searched the internet and it lead me back to eBay. I thought it was strange because I searched both using the exact same keywords. I guess “never give up” applies to the internet too.

Sometimes I noticed that eBay will return results in your area only... or around a specific country only.
Once you go and do a google search you will get more results.
